About the position
This is a remote job and we have one vacancy for this position. You’re free to work where you work best, anywhere in the world: home office, coworking space, coffeeshops. While we currently have an office in Melbourne, you should be comfortable working remotely—most of the company does! That hinges on effective writing and comfort with open communication. The bulk of our work is written. We do require that your normal workday has at least 6 hours overlap with the Melbourne workday without impinging on your personal/family life.

About you:
Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal (Exceptional English)
Self-motivated and are ready to work in an environment that will challenge you to the best of your ability
Able to multitask while meeting timeframes
Attention to detail in all areas of the role
Ability to work autonomously and in a virtual team environment

About your skills:

Expert level knowledge of Node.js
Expert level knowledge of MongoDB
Expert level experience of building REST APIs
Expert level knowlege in design and build microservices
Strong computer science fundamentals and Node.js design patterns
5+ year commercial Node.js experience
Passion for writing clean, modular, well-commented, readable and reusable code
Ability to think out of the box with a can-do attitude to get things done efficiently
Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate technical concepts in plain English
Top academics (BSc, MSc) in computer science
