Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or equivalent practical experience.
+1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python).
+1 year of experience working with JavaScript using React library and Next.js framework.
Capable of responsive web design using TailwindCSS, or other third-party libraries.
Familiar with design patterns and framework capabilities.
Proficient in reading Documentations written in English.

Preferred qualifications

Experience with advanced front-end concepts (e.g., advanced route handling using middleware and intercepting routes, parallel rendering, optimization, configuration setup) on Vercel ecosystem.
Experience developing full-stack applications using Next.js, Node.js.
Capable of data retrieval and augmentation using ORM systems, streaming, and error handling.
+3 year experience working with JavaScript using React library and Next.js framework.

About the job

PropertyGPT is a data-driven startup offering real estate solutions based in Dubai, UAE. Our team works on providing services to real estate brokers and home buyers, empowering them to make informed decisions. Due to the unexpected interest in our alpha version, we are planning to grow our team to further expand our capabilities and increase our development speed.

We’re looking for interested developers who bring fresh ideas for continuous expansion in our website, including but not limited to animations, rendering, internationalization, along with technical capabilities to implement them. As a front-end developer, you will work on standardizing our current codebase and improving upon it by adding various features suited for mobile and desktop usage. You will work along side our data, backend, and NLP team to further integrate the capabilities of our systems to the website. We need our team members to be versatile, display teamwork qualities and be enthusiastic to take on new problems across the their domains, as we continue to push our product forward.

With your technical expertise you will evaluate realization possibilities of different features, estimate the deadlines, and provide the requested deliverables. In cases, you will need to design, develop, test, maintain, and enhance software solutions.

PropertyGPT accelerates parties involved in the real estate market’s ability to integrate data into their business, and provide better services to their customer. Due to our capabilities in integrating technological advancements to real estate domain, we are highly anticipated in the current market and have already closed agreements with some of the top real estate agencies in Dubai to provide them with our analytics thus empowering them to focus on their priorities instead of having to deal with technology side themselves.

Responsibilities

Write production ready code for website using React, TailwindCSS, ShadCn, etc. compatible with our guidelines.
Participate in, or lead sudden need for updates, resolving issues while working alongside other team members.
Review the previous implementation and suggest enhancements aligned with software development best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
Write documentation for your workflow and present the results to other team members and management.
Participate in meetings, share your work with stakeholders and partners, and exemplary soft skills.

Pay and Benefits

At PropertyGPT, base pay is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between 150 and 250 million IRR per month, which will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience.
PropertyGPT employees also have the opportunity to convert their salaries from IRR to USD upon reaching profitability and successful monetization of the project. Employees are eligible for being granted the UAE golden visa, once reaching a certain experience in our team along with being promoted to a senior member. This is not guaranteed due to the ever-changing political situation, but we are working on realizing it through our trusted channels in the UAE.
You will also have the opportunity to work alongside our advisors, all of whom of distinguished individuals with respected roles in various Silicon Valley corporations or US and Canada universities.
The position is a full-time remote position with open work hours (except for meetings that need to be arranged in advance) allowing you to plan according to your preferences.
