Do you love building robust, scalable backend systems? Are you passionate about crafting clean, efficient code? If so, we want to hear from you!

We're looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join our growing team. In this remote-first role, you'll be responsible for the entire backend lifecycle, from designing and implementing APIs to maintaining and optimizing our AWS infrastructure. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate closely with engineering and product teams, playing a key role in shaping the future of our platform.

Here's what you'll be doing:

Design, develop, and launch new features with a focus on backend performance and scalability.
Enhance existing functionalities and optimize the overall platform.
Build, maintain, and troubleshoot our backend systems hosted on AWS.
Develop and manage our RESTful APIs.
Work with AWS data solutions to maintain and expand our data stores.
Collaborate effectively with engineering and product teams.
Write clean, maintainable code and identify and fix bugs.

To be successful, you'll need:

+6 years of experience in software development.
A strong foundation in software engineering principles.
Proven experience designing and implementing complex software applications.
Familiarity with design patterns, TDD, software architecture, and microservices.
Expertise in at least one of Python or C#.
Solid understanding of database management, particularly MySQL and AWS Aurora RDS.
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (mathematics, computer science, or engineering)
A self-motivated, results-oriented mindset with a passion for problem-solving.
A commitment to implementing industry best practices.
