POSITION SUMMARY

We're seeking a talented Business Development Associate to effectively support and execute various business development activities like:

Research: Conduct market research to identify potential new clients and competitors

Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients 

Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies, client service plans, and marketing strategies 

Communication: Communicate clearly and persuasively with various audiences 

Collaboration: Work closely with staff across all departments to implement growth strategies

Documentation: Draft business plans, sales pitches, presentations, and other outreach documents

 

A DAY IN THE LIFE ... 

·       Find and qualify potential leads

·       Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, gaps, needs, and pain points of the qualified leads

·       Create and maintain lists and reports of prospects, customers, and partners

·       Initiate communication and set appointments with potential and existing clients, partners, and stakeholders

·       Pitch, present, and promote the value propositions, products, or services, by using various channels, such as email, phone, social media, or events 

·       Follow up and nurture leads to move them along the sales pipeline

·       Collaborates with other teams, such as sales, marketing, product, or operations, to provide feedback, insights, and support for business development strategies

·       Assist in preparing proposals, contracts, agreements, and other documents related to business development



SKILLS

As a business development associate, you need a combination of hard and soft skills to perform your role effectively: 

·       Creativity and innovation skills to generate new ideas for business development opportunities and solutions

·       Problem-solving and decision-making skills to identify and resolve issues

·       Collaboration and teamwork, plus adaptability and flexibility skills to adjust to changing situations in a dynamic business environment

·       Market research and analysis skills to gather, interpret, and present data and information about the market, the industry, the competitors, and the customers.

·       Communication and presentation skills to communicate clearly, persuasively, and professionally with various audiences

·       Negotiation and persuasion skills to agree on terms, conditions, and outcomes with clients, partners, and stakeholders

·       Technical skills of R&D, Project management, CRM, Documentation, Presentation, Design and Networking software and tools

·       Focusing and Planning skills to work on different projects or services while interacting with different people and cultures
