About the role

If so, Geeks has a unique opportunity for a UX Designer to join our team. Collaborating closely with our Team in Iran and the UK, this role will be central in building a strong community of changemakers that break through barriers for change.

As a UX Designer, you will play a key role in shaping the user experience of our digital products and services. This is a remote position, and we welcome candidates based in Iran to apply. The ideal candidate should have a passion for user-centered design and a deep understanding of user experience principles.

Responsibilities

This is a dynamic role with a diverse set of responsibilities, including the following:

User Research: Support user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and motivations. Utilize various research methods such as surveys, interviews, and usability testing to gather valuable insights.
Information Architecture: Develop intuitive and effective information architectures for web and mobile applications. Organize and structure content to enhance user understanding and navigation.
Wireframing and Prototyping: Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and mockups to visualize and communicate design ideas. Use tools like Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD to bring concepts to life.
Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and other designers, to ensure seamless integration of user experience into the product development process.
Visual Design Support: Collaborate with UI designers to ensure a cohesive user experience by providing input on visual elements and styles.
Accessibility: Advocate for and implement accessible design practices to ensure our digital products are usable and enjoyable for all users, including those with disabilities.
Stay Updated: Stay updated with the latest UX trends, tools, and technologies. Continuously research and apply best practices in user-centered design.

Required skills & experience

To qualify for this position, you should have the following skills:

Proven experience as a UX Designer, preferably in an IT-based company.
Strong portfolio showcasing successful UX projects and your design process.
Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
Experience with conducting user research and usability testing is a plus.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of web and mobile development technologies is a plus.
Remote work experience and ability to collaborate effectively in a virtual team environment.
