About the role

If so, Geeks has a unique opportunity for a dynamic UX Researcher to join our team. Collaborating closely with our Team in Iran, this role will be central in building a strong community of changemakers that break through barriers for change.

As a UX Researcher, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth research to understand user behaviors, needs, and motivations. Your insights will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience of our digital products and services. This position is remote, and we welcome candidates based in Iran to apply.

Responsibilities

This is a dynamic role with a diverse set of responsibilities, including the following:

User Research Planning: Plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative user research studies to inform the design and development process. Develop research plans, recruit participants, and design research methodologies tailored to project goals.
User Interviews: Conduct one-on-one user interviews to gather qualitative insights. Develop interview protocols, ask probing questions, and synthesize findings to provide actionable recommendations.
Surveys and Questionnaires: Design and administer surveys and questionnaires to collect quantitative data. Analyze survey results and identify patterns and trends to uncover user preferences and pain points.
Usability Testing: Organize and facilitate usability testing sessions for digital products and prototypes. Gather feedback on user interactions, navigation, and overall user experience. Collaborate with designers and developers to iterate designs based on usability test results.
Persona Development: Create detailed user personas based on research findings. Use personas to communicate user needs and goals to cross-functional teams and guide product decision-making.
Competitor Analysis: Conduct competitive analysis to identify best practices and areas for differentiation. Stay updated on industry trends and competitors' offerings to inform UX strategies.
Data Analysis: Utilize quantitative data and analytics tools to analyze user behavior patterns. Extract meaningful insights from data to inform design decisions and optimize user experiences.
Collaboration: Collaborate closely with UX designers, product managers, and developers to integrate research findings into the product development process. Present research findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.

Required skills & experience

To qualify for this position, you should have the following skills:

Proven experience as a UX Researcher, preferably in an IT-based company.
Strong portfolio showcasing research projects and methodologies.
Proficiency in conducting various research methods, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and data analysis.
Familiarity with UX design principles and methodologies.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple research projects simultaneously.
Remote work experience and ability to collaborate effectively in a virtual team environment.
Knowledge of web and mobile development technologies is a plus.
