Fractal seeks a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in gathering, cleaning, and analyzing data to generate valuable insights that drive decision-making processes for our clients. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for understanding our customers' data needs, developing efficient ETL processes, and creating visually compelling dashboards that facilitate data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with clients to understand their data requirements and business objectives.
Advanced problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Storytelling (with data) skills
Develop and implement data-gathering strategies to collect relevant information from various sources within educational institutions.
Clean, preprocess, and transform raw data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
Design and implement efficient ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to integrate disparate datasets.
Build interactive dashboards and visualizations using industry-leading tools such as Metabase, Power BI, or similar platforms.
Knowledge and skills in descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analyses and related tools and methods
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends, technologies, and data analysis and visualization best practices.

Qualifications:

Proven experience working as a Data Analyst, Data engineer, or in a similar role.
Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using Python.
Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Superset, Power BI, Metabase, or similar platforms.
Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data governance frameworks.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Self-motivated and proactive with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) and their practical applications in data analysis.
