The team
You will be part of our Quality Assurance team. We perform multiple forms of testing, including functional, automation, regression, live site, release, and load testing, to deliver a high caliber application. We also find and fix bugs to meet our clients’ requirements before deploying our software.

The role
We’re looking for a Software Tester to run different levels of tests for ensuring the health of our client’s websites and applications. By analysing our system and software, you will mitigate risks and control the quality of our products and services throughout their lifecycle.

Responsibilities
● Coordinate and carry out manual and automated testing on our architecture and systems to ensure high performance, usability, and scalability.
● Perform white box, black box, regression, component, local and internationalisation, API, and load testing.
● Identify and document bugs and test out resolved issues.
● Suggest ideas to enhance the design and functionality of websites and applications.

Minimum requirements
● Relevant degree or a combination of training and experience
● Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle
● Hands-on experience as a software or web application tester
● Experience in automated and manual test design and execution
● Proficiency in one or more scripting languages, such as Python, PHP, or C/C++
● Experience in agile development methods such as Scrum or Kanban
● Ability to use Git to track changes in source code during software development
● Good understanding of Linux and other open-source platforms
● Up-to-date knowledge of the latest software testing trends
● Proficiency in English, both oral and written

Preferred experience
● Experience in carrying out load testing and performance
● Experience in Robot Framework
● Experience with project management tools such as Trello or Asana
● Experience with PostgreSQL or another RDBMS
● Proficiency in Perl
