Job brief
We are looking for a competent IT Specialist for the design, implementation and maintenance of computer systems. He/She works with a wide range of hardware and software to build and maintain networks, servers, databases and other digital infrastructure. He/She must have a deep understanding of both technology and business processes in order to effectively solve problems and implement solutions

Roles & Responsibilities
- Strong technical knowledge in Troubleshooting of PC, Network and Server related problems
- Performs storage and server data backup, data migration and disaster recovery operations
- Provide a high level of service in a very professional manner to End Users
- Assist and monitor daily backups, anti-virus and patch management
- Provides technical guidance and assistance to system engineer
- Explore and provide new technical solutions
- Ensure system compliance with all established information security policies
- Responsible to work with the respective vendors' support teams for the troubleshooting, identification and resolution of system issues
- Provide support to group subsidiaries for IT related setup or issues. Manage the infrastructure setup of new sites or offices
- Familiar with Windows Servers Active Directory domain, DNS, DHCP, and other related services administration, troubleshooting, health check and fine-tuning
- Experience in Implementing and Maintaining Backup Solutions
- Resourceful Engineer who knows how to solve problems independently using online and offline resources
- Good communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Well organized, proactive and self-directed, able to perform with minimal supervision and also a team player
- Any other job duties assigned
Qualifications for IT Specialist:
- Must Hands-on experience in
- VMware environment
- Veeam Backup
- MS Windows Server OS and its services (AD, DHCP, DNS,…)
- 5+ years of experience working in an IT Service environment
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts with minimal notice
- Available to work regular overtime
- Proficiency with VMware and MS services
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Detail oriented in order to keep detailed notes on tickets
- Highly organized to keep Help desk tickets order
- Familiarity with ManageEngine, MS-Outlook, Monitoring systems, and IP Network concepts
- BSc/BA in IT, Computer Science or relevant field
- MCSE and CCNA certified will be added advantage
