The role is outward-facing and interacting directly with users of the system. You will monitor and respond to user issues (triage), assign bug requests to developers, gather requirements for current and future development, and write up documentation. Working with Facility staff, biologists, and team members to ensure the software delivered is effective and meets customer needs.

Qualification:
Degree level education or equivalent in the computing discipline
Experience of the operational software ecosystem
Working knowledge of Linux systems to a level suitable to assist with diagnosis
Exposure to web server technologies such as Apache Tomcat
Experience of Oracle SQL dialect (or MongoDB)
Very well conversant with CI/CD pipeline
Knowledge of Springboot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security, Distributed Caching technologies and REST framework

REST/SOAP API knowledge is a MUST
Professional certifications in desired skill areas are desirable.
