Job Description:

Position Summary:

We are looking for a Backend Developer with expertise in Python to work on our information technology software. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our backend components, implementing efficient algorithms, and maintaining high-performance databases. You will collaborate with the front-end development team and other stakeholders to build robust and scalable web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Python Programming: Writing backend logic, modules, and Python commands for web server applications.

API Development and Enhancement: Building APIs to support front-end and mobile application functionality.

Integration of Front-End Logic: Collaborating with front-end developers to combine user-facing elements with server-side logic.

Application Optimization: Tuning applications for maximum speed and scalability.

Security and Data Protection: Implementing security measures to protect sensitive information.

Database Creation and Maintenance: Designing and maintaining databases to ensure data integrity and efficient querying.

Troubleshooting and Debugging: Identifying and resolving backend-related issues and bugs.

Code Reviews: Evaluating code to maintain code quality and best practices.

Staying Current: Keeping up with industry trends and technologies to propose improvements and innovations.

Collaboration: Working with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and timelines.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Backend Developer or in a similar role.

Proficiency in server-side languages like Python.

Experience with backend frameworks (e.g., Django or Flask).

Strong knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL) and their optimization.

Familiarity with web server technologies (e.g., Nginx or Apache).

Understanding of front-end technologies and their integration with the backend.

Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to work in an agile development environment.

Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory but Advantageous):

Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Proficiency in RESTful API design and implementation.

Familiarity with DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Knowledge of microservices architecture.
