Job Overview: 

Our backend developers design software programs using their knowledge of Firebase. They code and test software to ensure functionality and update software programs to refine components based on customer requirements.  

Backend developers in ElasticTeams work closely with our front-end team and their project manager to create high-standard and reliable software as required by our customers. A successful candidate has 5 years of experience in software development in a test-driven environment.  

  Tasks: 

  • Designing and building sophisticated and highly scalable apps in firebase 
  • Build custom packages using the functionalities and APIs 
  • Ensure security guidelines are always followed while developing the app 
  • Resolve any problems existing in the current systems 
  • Suggest and add new features to the completed systems 
  • Write tests for the App 
  • Planning development refractories 
  • Follow the best practices while developing the app 
  • Keep everything structured and well documented 
  • Document each project and code efficiently 
  • Manage the code and project on Git in order to keep in sync with others 
  • Creating sub-tasks for each task given 
  • Creating reports on Jira to improve workflow 
  • Efficient documentation of coded programs 
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise: 

  • 6 years of related working experience 
  • Full-time availability 
  • Full professional proficiency in English & effective Communication skills 
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office 
  • Experienced in Google firebase technologies and Google Cloud 
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies 
  • Understanding of object-oriented and functional programming 
  • Experienced in API management & using Jira & Git 
  • Familiar with Material Design Guidelines 
  • Familiar with software design patterns 
  • Expertise in one backend technology stacks like Go, Java, Node.js, Python, etc 
  • Experienced in database management, SQL & no SQL 
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously 
  • Accuracy and keen attention to detail. 
  • Team player, critical thinker & Creativity 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision 
  • A strong drive for producing quality software & a solution provider 
  • Time management skills & Commitment to deadlines
