We are seeking a Signal Processing Expert for Anomaly detection in acoustic data to join our team with immediate urgency. This role involves processing large-scale acoustic data (terabytes of information) to detect cracks in water pipelines using advanced signal processing techniques. The position will contribute to developing reliable, data-driven solutions for a groundbreaking project.

What You’ll Do:

  • Analyze large datasets of acoustic signals to identify potential cracks and defects in water pipelines.
  • Develop and implement signal processing algorithms for acoustic data analysis.
  • Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to support pipeline monitoring and analysis.
  • Utilize Python, SQL, and Jupyter notebooks to manipulate, explore, and visualize data.
  • Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) to efficiently handle and process massive datasets.
  • Provide clear and concise reporting of results, presenting key insights to clients.
  • Adapt to project changes and contribute innovative solutions to address emerging challenges.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in signal processing, preferably in acoustic signal processing.
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering, Data Science, Acoustics, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and SQL, with experience working with Jupyter notebooks.
  • Experience with machine learning lifecycle management and ML management tools (e.g., MLflow).
  • Knowledge of distributed model training (e.g., Dask).
  • Self-driven with excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience with distributed acoustic sensing (DAS) technology.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, DOMO, or Power BI.
  • Experience with acoustic data is a plus.
  • Real-time data processing is a bonus, but not required.
