Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Android Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Android app development, particularly in building and maintaining high-quality mobile applications. Experience in e-commerce development is a plus, especially in integrating Android apps with e-commerce platforms such as Magento through APIs.

As a Senior Android Developer, you will be responsible for driving the development of our Android applications, ensuring smooth integration with our back-end systems, and optimizing app performance to deliver an exceptional user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain advanced Android applications for e-commerce purposes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and back-end developers, to define, design, and deliver new features.
Write clean, scalable, and efficient code, following best practices in Android development.
Ensure seamless integration of Android applications with back-end services, including Magento or other e-commerce platforms via APIs.
Troubleshoot and debug Android apps, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and Android development practices.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in Android development using Java and Kotlin.
Strong understanding of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
Proficiency in designing and developing high-quality apps with attention to detail.
Experience working with RESTful APIs and web services.
Experience with e-commerce app development, with knowledge of integrating with Magento or similar e-commerce platforms being a plus.
Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
Solid understanding of Git and version control systems.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of Magento APIs and experience integrating Android apps with e-commerce platforms.
Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Understanding of mobile UI/UX design principles.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
