Ebn-e-Sina Research (international registered trademark: Avicenna Research) is a well-established health-tech company providing research services to scientists and academics around the world. We provide researchers with a suite of software tools to automate their research. We work with more than 300 institutions across 23 countries, and have helped conduct more than 1,000 research projects on over 100K patients.
We are hiring a motivated, goal-oriented, senior sales representative to establish and grow our footprint in this sector. As a sales representative, you will carry our sales effort in the health and clinical research industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Become an expert in Avicenna’s product offering to effectively communicate how it can deliver value and fit in the client's current workflow.
Identify decision-makers in each opportunity, form relationships with them, and demonstrate the value of Avicenna in their institution.
Attend sales meetings, calls, and training sessions as required.
Manage sales pipeline activities and prepare and share reports related to each in-progress opportunity.
Keep notes and records about each opportunity in CRM. Document the progress as necessary.
Achieve (and ideally exceed) quarterly and annual sales targets and objectives.
Circle back the feedback of the clients to the product and engineering team, and help them prioritize their development effort.
Job Requirements:

Ability to read, write, listen, and speak fluently in English. Please note that fluency in English speaking is necessary and all interviews will be conducted in English.
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills. Ability to present complex topics in brief sentences.
Strong technical and software skills. Advanced computer user. Able to meet with the engineering & product team, understand their perspective, and translate it to the client.
Having the following skills is an asset:
3+ years of experience in direct sales is an asset.
Familiarity with the B2B direct sales processes.
Excellent business development, contract negotiation, and deal-closing skills.
Motivated and goal-driven.
Strong teamwork, networking, and time management skills.

Important Items to note:
This position involves meeting with people in different time zones. You will be required to attend meetings late evenings from Sunday to Thursday (25% of the time).
This is a full-time permanent position. We do not consider applicants looking for a part-time or hourly contract.
While the location is listed as Tehran, we welcome applicants from any city in Iran.
