شرح موقعیت شغلی

Raika is an end-to-end research platform that enables researchers to quantitatively measure human behavior using smartphones, wearables, and big data. We are looking for a talented and experienced frontend developer to join our engineering team. As our ideal candidate, you should be an experienced JavaScript programmer, in particular using the React library, with deep knowledge of software development and algorithms. As our team is remote-first, you will be working remotely as well, therefore it's extremely important for you to possess the following personal characteristics:

Be self-disciplined.
Be able to articulate thoughts and plans clearly, both verbally, and in written form.
Pay very close attention to the requirements and deliver outstanding results.

We expect you to be an expert in:

Proficient with JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, CSS, React and at least one React UI library (Material UI preferred)
Experience with React hooks, Context API and popular React.js workflows, such as Redux and React-Query.
Experience with CSS in JS frameworks like JSS, Styled Components or Emotion
Good understanding of E2E testing especially with Cypress
Experience with profiling and improving the performance. (especially React dev tool’s profiler)
Experience with Node.js, Gatsby, Webpack, and Jest is a big plus.

Needless to say, as a strong developer, you should be familiar with:

Git, Gitlab (Rebasing, squashing and merging)
Data structure and algorithms.
Being comfortable with reading and writing in English is necessary. You may choose to verbally communicate with the team in Farsi, though all written communications are in English (if you have read it so far without a dictionary, you are good)

A typical day in your work will include:

Attend design meetings regarding implementation of new features, or refactoring and improvements to the old features.
Review codes from colleagues.
Implement features or improvements for the Raika frontend software.
Write test cases for your recently-developed features.
