Job Description:

We are in search of a dynamic and detail-oriented Product Owner to be an integral part of our agile development teams. As a Product Owner, you will work closely with the Product Manager and the development team to define product features and ensure that the team is working on stories that maximize business value and deliver necessary fixes and functionality to all customers. You will own the team backlog, and play a critical role in aligning product development with the company's vision and goals.


Key Areas of Responsibility and Tasks:

  • Own and define the product backlog, and ensure that it accurately reflects priorities in line with the product strategy.
  • Clearly articulate the customer needs and requirements in the form of user stories.
  • Prioritize features, enhancements, and bug fixes in the backlog.
  • Work closely with the development teams to ensure that the product backlog is ready for the next sprint.
  • Engage with stakeholders, customers, and users to validate and collect feedback on delivered features.
  • Accept or reject the work results from the development team.
  • Facilitate the Agile processes and execution, escalate impediments, and allow the teams to clarify the queries regarding the acceptance criteria of the product backlog items.
  • Actively manage risks and dependencies.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment, and participate in continuous improvement of the product and process.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven work experience as a Product Owner or similar role in product management.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile principles and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent certification is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and business stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to understand and represent both the business and customer.
  • Familiarity with product management tools such as Jira.
  • Fluency in English reading and writing is essential.
