Senior Virtualization & Backup Systems Engineer
Position Summary:
Our company is seeking an experienced and highly skilled engineer to design, implement, and optimize virtualization environments and enterprise backup solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end infrastructure design, deployment, and operational support, particularly focusing on VMware and Veritas NetBackup platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and re-engineer virtualization infrastructure.
- Install, configure, and manage VMware vSphere / ESXi environments.
- Design and deploy High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) architectures.
- Implement and manage Veritas NetBackup backup and recovery systems.
- Develop and maintain multi-level backup strategies.
- Optimize server and resource performance.
- Prepare comprehensive technical documentation and operation guides.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on experience with VMware virtualization platforms.
- Advanced knowledge of Veritas NetBackup administration.
- Solid understanding of both Windows Server and Linux OS environments.
- Proven ability in infrastructure design, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
