We are looking for a DevOps engineer to join our team.
Job Summary
- Set up & manage infrastructure, CI/CD and code deployment scripts
- Set up, manage and maintain a Kubernetes cluster for our microservices
- Promote good engineering practices across the development team including logging and monitoring, designing for reliability, scalability and security, automated testing, risk and incident management
- Prepare and maintain documents that include architectural diagrams, data models and navigation maps in your area of expertise
Requirements
- Basic experience in Software Development
- Experienced in Git
- Experienced in Linux & Bash scripting
- Experienced in CI/CD systems (preferably GitLab CI)
- Expert knowledge of application development with technologies like Kafka, MySQL, Redis and so on
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes
- Ability to use a wide variety of technologies and tools
- Familiarity with Database concepts: Design, Scaling, High Availability, Sharding, ...
- Familiarity with Monitoring and Log Management tools
- Familiarity with automated software testing
- Deep understanding of security concepts
The following are not required, but will be considered a plus:
- Experience with Apache Kafka
- Back-end programming experience
