We're seeking an experienced Quality Assurance/Test Engineer to join our team at DivNotes.

As a QAT specialist, you'll be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products across various domains, including education, health, music, government, and e-commerce.

You'll work closely with our developers, product managers, and project managers to design, implement, and maintain testing strategies and frameworks that guarantee optimal performance, scalability, and security.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute automated and manual testing strategies for software products across multiple domains.
Collaborate with developers and product managers to prioritize test cases and scenarios based on business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Write detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
Use various testing methodologies such as black-box, white-box, and grey-box testing to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Set up and maintain testing environments and test data that simulate production environments and scenarios.
Troubleshoot and debug issues found during testing and work with developers to resolve them.
Analyze and report test results, defects, and metrics to the admin team and recommend improvements to the development process.
Continuously improve the testing process by exploring new tools and techniques, sharing knowledge and best practices, and providing training and coaching to other team members.
Mentor and train junior QA engineers to improve their skills and grow as professionals.
Participate in all phases of the software development cycle, including design, implementation, and deployment.
Communicate testing progress and results to the admin team.
Identify, document, and track software defects and issues and collaborate with development teams to reproduce and resolve them.
Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance, with at least 2 years working in a senior/leadership role.
Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices.
Experience with testing frameworks and libraries such as Selenium, Jest, RSpec, NUnit, and Mocha.
Strong understanding of programming concepts and languages such as Ruby, C# , and JavaScript.
Experience working with databases and SQL queries.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
Experience with performance testing and load testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling.
Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and services such as AWS or DigitalOcean.
Strong knowledge of software development processes and methodologies such as DevOps or Lean.
Knowledge of testing native desktop applications, PWAs, and blockchain-based applications is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and attention to detail.
