Key Responsibilities:

Application Development: Lead the development of complex Python and Django applications. Ensure robust, scalable, and efficient solutions tailored to the financial services sector.
Database Expertise: Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases, ensuring data integrity, efficiency, and security.
Caching Implementation: Utilize Redis for effective caching strategies, enhancing application performance.
Backend Integration and Maintenance: Integrate backend services, including some PHP-based systems, ensuring cohesive functionality and performance.
Task Queues and Message Brokers: Implement task queues using Celery and manage RabbitMQ as the message broker to handle distributed task processing efficiently.
Code Quality and Review: Uphold high coding standards through regular code reviews and adherence to best practices. Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of technical excellence.
Problem-Solving and Optimization: Proactively troubleshoot and optimize applications, focusing on speed, scalability, and security.

Qualifications:

Solid experience as a Python developer with in-depth knowledge of the Django framework.
Proficiency with PostgreSQL and Redis.
Strong experience in implementing task queues using Celery and RabbitMQ.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and algorithmic thinking.
Leadership qualities and experience in mentoring junior developers.
Excellent communication skills and teamwork capabilities.
