Job Title: Node.js Developer (TypeScript & NestJS Specialist)

We’re a dynamic technology company dedicated to building scalable, high-performance web applications. Our team values clean code, robust architecture, and continuous learning. We’re seeking a passionate Node.js Developer to join us in designing and implementing cutting‐edge backend services.


Key Responsibilities

  • Backend Development: Architect, develop, and maintain server‐side applications using Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS.
  • API Design: Design and implement RESTful APIs, ensuring best practices in authentication, versioning, and documentation.
  • Database Integration: Work with PostgreSQL, leveraging ORMs (ideally Prisma) to model data, write migrations, and optimize queries.
  • Security & Auth: Implement robust JWT‐based authentication and authorization flows.
  • OOP & Architecture: Apply OOP design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean‐code methodologies to keep the codebase modular, testable, and maintainable.
  • Testing: Write and maintain unit tests (using Jest) to ensure code quality and prevent regressions.
  • Code Reviews & CI/CD: Participate in peer code reviews, enforce coding standards, and collaborate on continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with frontend developers, QA engineers, and product owners in an Agile/Scrum environment, attending stand‐ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and NestJS (+1 year of hands‐on experience).
  • Deep understanding of ORM frameworks (preferably Prisma) and relational database design with PostgreSQL.
  • Solid grasp of Object-Oriented Programming and architectural best practices (clean code, SOLID principles).
  • Expertise in writing comprehensive unit tests using Jest.
  • Familiarity with Git workflows and participation in code reviews.

Nice to Have

  • Agile/Scrum: Experience working in fast‐paced Agile teams, contributing to sprint ceremonies and backlog grooming.
  • Docker: Containerization of services and local development environments.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Familiarity with tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins for automated builds, tests, and deployments.
  • Microservices Architecture: Designing and consuming microservices, including inter‐service communication patterns.
  • Message Queues: Hands‐on experience with message brokers such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar.
