About Dataak

Dataak is a data intelligence company with roots going back to 2018, built on deep technical and managerial expertise in social network analysis, data mining, and business intelligence. We help organizations — from private companies to public-sector decision-makers — turn raw, noisy data from the web and social media into clear, actionable insight.

About the Role

You'll join the team building Dastaan, our Persian-language AI intelligence platform. Dastaan is Dataak's flagship product: a multi-agent AI system that monitors, analyzes, and reports on large volumes of social media and news data in real time, giving decision-makers fast, reliable answers instead of raw noise. As an AI Engineer on this team, you'll help design, build, and improve the agent pipelines, retrieval systems, and prompt logic that power Dastaan's core intelligence.

Core Responsibilities

Build and maintain components of multi-agent AI systems using modern agent frameworks
Write, test, and iterate on LLM prompts based on real usage and observed failure cases
Build and query search/retrieval logic against large document stores
Monitor and debug AI system behavior using observability/tracing tools
Collaborate with the team on system design decisions as the product evolves
Work with Persian-language text data and NLP-specific considerations

Required Qualifications

Strong Python, with production experience building async services (asyncio, streaming APIs)
Hands-on experience with LLM agent frameworks — OpenAI Agents SDK, LangGraph, or equivalent
Experience with prompt engineering in a production setting — not just prototyping, but iterating against real failure cases with measurable quality gates
Experience with Elasticsearch or another document search engine (query DSL, multi-index search, aggregations)

Preferred

Familiarity with LLM observability/tracing tools (Langfuse, LangSmith, or similar)
RAG system experience, especially the vector-search → entity-extraction → graph-RAG progression
Experience with LLM-as-judge / semantic gates (vs. heuristic validation)
Coursework, side projects, or professional experience in NLP

Nice to Have

Experience with social media or media monitoring tools/platforms
Open-source contributions related to AI/ML tooling
Interest in Persian or low-resource language NLP
