Our team at Rastava is looking to make a new addition to its family. If you're a QA engineer who can speak fluent English and communicate with English-speaking team members, then you've come to the right place. You'll get a chance to work on international projects and with remote team members joining in from all around the world.

As a quality assurance engineer, you'll get a chance to make a significant impact on the quality and reliability of our products.

Responsibilities:

The role is hands-on
Test new features on different test levels (integration, system, functional, regression, exploratory testing)
Understanding of business requirements and developing automated test scenarios and cases
Write test plans with schedules and dependencies
Experience with carrying out performance testing is a plus
Plan and perform manual & automated tests
Ensure we deliver quality solutions during the whole project development cycle.
Conducting test plans
Produce defect metrics and reporting on the full QA process.
Ensure automated tests for front-end components of our web solutions and native/hybrid mobile apps (iOS & Android) with industry standard testing tools and scripting languages.
Meeting with clients: defect prioritization and triage
Participating in defining internal QA goals (evaluation of new tools, setting up new process for performance testing, creating/updating/delivering training to new hires).

Requirements

Fluency in English
Understanding and experience of Agile.
Act as a mediator between the business and the technical teams
Understanding of continuous integration with end to end automated testing on web and mobile.
Experience in web and mobile (iOS and Android) test automation.
Knowledge of Java and JavaScript.
Experience with Jenkins and version control systems (SVN/Git).
Knowledge and application experience with exploratory testing
Presentation and communication skills
Have a proactive approach allowing you to be self-providing, and quick learner able to mitigate impediments
Self-directed learner & problem solver
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written

Considered an Asset:

Previous Backbase backend experience
Exposure and experience with programming; Java & JavaScript
Bachelor’s Degree
