Job Title: Senior Software Engineer Java - Database

BVITA is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Software Engineer Java - Database to join our team on a full-time remote basis. As a Senior Software Engineer Java - Database, you will be responsible for leading the development of applications, mentoring junior developers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software products that meet the unique needs of our clients.

Requirements:

Excellent English conversation skills
At least 7 years of experience in software engineering.
Experience in profiling and optimizing high-performance applications
Deep understanding of how relational and NoSQL databases work internally, including but not limited to Postgresql, MySQL, and MongoDB
Proficient in Java
Advanced SQL skills
You take a user-centric approach to building products and developer tools
You enjoy building abstractions & tools which multiply output
Excited to work remote
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
A passion for continuous learning and improvement (both at a personal and team level)

Responsibilities:

Drive project design and build database sources
Lead cross-team technical initiatives
Pioneer the creation of new patterns, tools, and frameworks for the connectors organization
Help shape the Database Sources team roadmap and product
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
Write high-leverage code
Mentor engineers

Compensation:
We offer a very competitive compensation package based on experience and skills.
Payment is in USD (USDT Tether)

Location:
This is a full-time remote position and the candidate can work from anywhere with a stable internet connection. Work hours will be based on CST, from 8 or 9 AM to 4 or 5 PM, Monday to Friday.
