Set up live dashboards (Grafana or similar) for the field team and management
Set up data quality checks and keep the data audit-ready for carbon credit verification (Verra / Puro.Earth)
Build and calibrate crop water and irrigation models (FAO-56, AquaCrop-OSPy) using trial data
Analyse soil, water, tree growth and survival data at the mid-trial and endpoint reviews, and produce the final analysis report
What you bring
MSc or PhD in soil science, agronomy, environmental science, data science or a related field
Strong Python or R, and SQL (PostgreSQL/PostGIS preferred)
Experience designing and analysing field experiments (mixed-effects models, ANOVA, repeated measures)
Experience with sensor or IoT time-series data and remote sensing (Sentinel-2, NDVI)
KoboToolbox, ODK or XLSForm experience is a strong plus
Experience with arid or saline agriculture, or with carbon MRV, is a plus
Able to work on site at Al Wathba when needed, especially during baseline and sampling periods
