We are bitceptron, the first Bitcoin company in Iran, and we’re looking for an experienced Rust Developer to join our team and help us build the next generation of Bitcoin-based products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop High-Performance Systems: Write efficient, secure, and scalable code in Rust to build Bitcoin-related services, infrastructure, and applications.

Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to design and implement solutions that align with bitceptron’s goals and technical requirements.

Contribute to Bitcoin Development: Contribute to the development and improvement of Bitcoin-related systems, with a focus on usability.

Code Review & Mentorship: Participate in code reviews, provide feedback to junior developers, and help maintain best practices across the team.

Optimize for Speed & Scalability: Continuously improve the performance and scalability of our systems to handle growing demand and large-scale Bitcoin operations.

Stay Ahead of the Curve: Keep up to date with developments in the Rust ecosystem, Bitcoin protocol, and cryptography technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge.

Requirements:
Strong Experience with Rust: Proven experience writing high-quality, production-level code in Rust.

Knowledge of Bitcoin & cryptography: Deep understanding of Bitcoin and cryptographic technologies. Experience with Bitcoin-related development is a big plus.

Security and Performance Focused: Experience designing and building secure, high-performance, and fault-tolerant systems.

Familiarity with Cryptography: Knowledge of cryptographic principles used in Bitcoin and blockchain applications, including hashing, public-key cryptography, and digital signatures.

Experience with Distributed Systems: Familiarity with distributed systems and the challenges of building decentralized applications.

Collaboration Skills: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers and other engineers.

Fluent in English: Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken, to collaborate with international teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Bitcoin Core development and Bitcoin Script.

Familiarity with other technologies, such as Lightning Network.

Knowledge of other programming languages (e.g., C++, Java) is a plus.

On-site, Tehran, Iran.
