Responsibilities for Help Desk Technician
Manage Help Desk tickets in a timely manner
Respond to customer issues via phone, email, and computer chat
Provide customer assistance
Document customer interactions
Good Documentation skills
Run diagnostics to resolve customer-reported issues
Escalate issues to the next Tier with the next level of difficulty
Install, make changes, and repair computer hardware and software
Follow-up with customers to ensure issues are resolved
Qualifications for Help Desk Technician
CompTIA A+ and Network+ preferred
Familiar with VoIP.
3+ years of experience working in a help desk environment
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts with minimal notice
Available to work regular overtime
Proficiency with a Windows and Linux computers
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
Detail-oriented in order to keep detailed notes on tickets
Highly organized to keep Help desk tickets in order
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues
