Title: Chief Technology Officer - Data Science

We are excited to offer you the position of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for our Data Science team at Basilica Finance, a company dedicated to innovative solutions in the financial sector, with a special focus on forex and related financial services. Your expertise in data science, coupled with your understanding of the financial industry, makes you an ideal candidate for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the data science team in developing and implementing data-driven strategies for forex and financial services.
  • Collaborate closely with our front-end and back-end developers to integrate data science solutions into our software products.
  • Drive innovation in financial data analysis, leveraging advanced machine learning and AI techniques.
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Mentor and manage the data science team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
 

Your role as a CTO will be pivotal in bridging the gap between data science and practical financial applications. Working alongside our dedicated front-end and back-end developers, you will have the opportunity to make significant contributions to our products and services, ultimately shaping the future of financial technology at Basilica Finance.

·         Technical Expertise and Knowledge

  1. Data Science and Analytics 
    • Proficiency in advanced statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms, and predictive modeling. 
    • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools. 
  2. Financial Markets and Forex Trading (Optional) 
    • In-depth understanding of forex markets, trading strategies, and financial instruments. 
    • Knowledge of market dynamics, economic indicators, and factors affecting currency movements. 
  3. Software Development 
    • Familiarity with software development processes, particularly in relation to data science. 
    • Experience working with front-end and back-end developers, understanding their technologies and frameworks. 
  4. Technology Leadership 
    • Experience in leading technology teams, particularly in data science. 
    • Ability to oversee development projects, ensuring integration between different technological components.
