Barbell is seeking a talented individual who possesses infinite curiosity. You'll partner with a professional team to create groundbreaking technology. This is an incredible opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the future of Barbell.
Responsibilities
- Developing front-end website architecture.
- Developing back-end website applications.
- Creating servers and databases for functionality.
- Ensuring responsiveness of applications.
- Designing and developing APIs.
- Balance speed and quality, with a focus on tangible results.
- Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile phones.
- Working alongside graphic designers for web design features.
- Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.
- Resolve support requests on a day-to-day basis.
- Partner closely with business team to communicate brand value.
- Provide regular feedback and support.
- Seeing through a project from conception to finished product.
- Report directly to our managing director.
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or other relevant fields.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, organized and self-sufficient.
- Proficiency with fundamental front end languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Proficiency with JavaScript frameworks such as React and React Native.
- Proficiency with Python Django server side language.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL database technology.
- Familiarity with git.
- Familiarity with Service-oriented architecture.
- Familiarity with Object-oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
- Familiarity with data structures.
- Flexible and focused on solutions.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good problem solving skills.
- Deep understanding of technology and business.
- Attention to detail.
