Senior SEO Specialist – Medical & Healthcare-English

We are looking for an experienced Senior SEO Specialist to lead the organic growth strategy for a International private healthcare service/clinic.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive SEO, GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation) and AIO (AI Optimisation) strategies to improve organic visibility, search rankings, qualified traffic, patient enquiries and conversions across both traditional search engines and emerging AI-powered search platforms.

Mandatory Requirements

Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:

Excellent professional English language skills, particularly written English and content evaluation.
Proven SEO experience within the medical, healthcare, diagnostic or clinical services sector.
Demonstrable experience working on international English-language websites/projects outside Iran.
A strong portfolio with measurable SEO results and case studies.
Advanced knowledge of Technical SEO, On-Page SEO, Off-Page SEO, Local SEO and Content SEO.
Strong understanding of GEO and AIO, including optimisation for AI-powered search, generative engines and answer platforms.
Experience improving brand/entity visibility and content discoverability across Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT,Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and other AI search environments.
Advanced skills in Keyword Research, Search Intent Analysis, Competitor Analysis, Content Gap Analysis, Entity/Topic Research and Topic Clustering.
Strong understanding of E-E-A-T and YMYL, particularly their application to medical and healthcare content.
Ability to conduct comprehensive technical audits covering crawlability, indexation, site architecture, internal linking, canonicalisation, redirects, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, structured data/schema, Core Web Vitals and page performance.
Advanced working knowledge of professional SEO platforms such as Google Search Console, GA4, Semrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Sitebulb or equivalent tools.
Strong knowledge of Local SEO and Google Business Profile, ideally for multi-location healthcare businesses.
Experience with ethical Link Building, Backlink Analysis and Digital PR.
Ability to report against meaningful KPIs, including organic traffic, visibility, rankings, CTR, leads, conversions and revenue.

Desirable Skills

Previous SEO experience with private clinics, ultrasound services, diagnostic imaging, hospitals or other healthcare providers will be a significant advantage.

Experience using Generative AI tools for content research, content briefs, medical content development, content optimisation, competitor research and GEO/AIO strategies is highly desirable.

Candidates with practical experience using tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and AI-assisted SEO/content platforms will have an advantage.

Because this role involves medical content, candidates should understand the importance of fact-checking, clinical review, source credibility and responsible use of AI in healthcare content.
