Website Content Writer

Job Title: Website Content Writer
Department: Marketing / Communications

Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Website Content Writer to create, edit, and maintain high-quality content for our websites and digital platforms. The ideal candidate has excellent writing skills, understands user experience and search engine optimization (SEO), and can produce engaging content that informs, educates, and converts visitors into customers.

The Website Content Writer will collaborate with marketing, design, product, and management teams to ensure all website content aligns with the organization's brand identity, business objectives, and target audience.

Key Responsibilities

Write, edit, proofread, and publish high-quality website content.
Develop content for landing pages, service pages, product pages, company profiles, FAQs, blogs, and resource sections.
Create clear, engaging, and persuasive copy tailored to different audiences.
Optimize website content using SEO best practices, including keyword integration, metadata, internal linking, and readability.
Review and update existing website content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and relevance.
Research industry trends, competitors, and customer needs to create valuable content.
Collaborate with designers, developers, and marketing teams to ensure content supports website functionality and user experience.
Create compelling calls-to-action (CTAs) that encourage user engagement and conversions.
Ensure all content follows brand guidelines, tone of voice, and editorial standards.
Assist in developing content for digital marketing campaigns, newsletters, brochures, social media, and other communication materials when required.
Maintain a consistent publishing schedule and meet project deadlines.
Monitor content performance and recommend improvements based on analytics and user feedback.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience in website content writing, copywriting, or digital content creation.
Excellent written skills.
Strong grammar, spelling, editing, and proofreading abilities.
Ability to write for different audiences, industries, and communication styles.
Strong research and analytical skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, Shopify, or similar platforms.
Knowledge of SEO principles and content optimization techniques.
Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools.
Experience with AI-assisted writing tools while maintaining editorial quality.
Experience writing across multiple industries or business sectors.
