We are looking for a Senior Compensation & Benefits Specialist to build and manage DotOne’s compensation, benefits, payroll-related processes, and people operations infrastructure.
This role will play a key role in designing scalable compensation structures, benefits processes, and employee administrative operations while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a strong employee experience.
The ideal candidate is process-oriented, detail-focused, analytical, and comfortable building operational foundations from scratch.
Key Responsibilities:
Compensation & Rewards
Design and maintain compensation structures across roles and levels
Support salary benchmarking and market analysis
Build salary bands and compensation frameworks
Partner with HR and business leaders on compensation decisions
Support annual salary review and bonus cycles
Benefits Administration
Manage employee benefits and related operational processes
Review and improve benefit offerings based on organizational needs
Support employee inquiries regarding compensation and benefits
Payroll & HR Operations
Coordinate payroll-related processes with finance/payroll teams
Manage salary slips, advances, final settlements, and related employee requests
Ensure accurate employee records and documentation
Support contract preparation, renewals, amendments, and HR documentation
Policy & Process Development
Design and standardize HR operational policies and procedures
Improve efficiency and employee experience in people operations workflows
Build scalable operational processes for growing teams
Job Grading Support
Partner with OD and HR leadership on grading and leveling frameworks
Translate organizational levels into compensation bands and reward structures
Requirements
3+ years of experience in Compensation & Benefits, HR Operations, or People Operations
Strong knowledge of compensation practices and payroll operations
Experience building or improving HR operational processes
Strong analytical and numerical skills
High attention to detail and process ownership mindset
Experience working cross-functionally with finance and leadership teams
Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills
Experience in fast-growth or startup environments is a plus
