Job Summary:

As a Senior Network Engineer specializing in Collaboration and Telephony Services, you will play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining robust network infrastructure to support seamless communication and collaboration within the organization. You will ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of telephony systems, video conferencing platforms, and other collaboration tools. This role requires a deep understanding of networking principles, VoIP technologies, and collaboration solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement, and maintain network infrastructure to support voice and video communication systems.
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of collaboration services.
  • Deploy, configure, and manage Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve telephony-related issues, ensuring optimal call quality and reliability.
  • Implement and support unified communication solutions, integrating voice, video, messaging, and collaboration tools.
  • Integration of communication services with other business applications.
  • Administer and optimize collaboration platforms such as Skype for Business, Microsoft Teams, or other relevant tools.
  • Ensure seamless integration of collaboration tools with the network infrastructure.
  • Implement security measures to protect communication systems from unauthorized access and cyber threats.
  • Proactively monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting processes.
  • Provide training and documentation for end-users on collaboration tools.
  • Participate in project planning and execution, ensuring successful delivery of collaboration initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Network Engineer with a focus on collaboration and telephony services.
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols, VoIP technologies, and collaboration platforms.
  • Experience with Cisco Unified Communications, Microsoft Teams, or other relevant collaboration tools.
  • Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards in telephony services.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze and resolve complex network issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or certifications in collaboration platforms are a plus.
