Position Overview:

As a Webmaster at Aron Groups, you will manage and optimize our web presence, focusing on WordPress development, plugin management, and Technical SEO. You'll work with cross-functional teams to ensure our websites are secure, fast, user-friendly, and aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Website Management:
- Oversee daily website operations, ensuring functionality, security, and updates.
- Customize WordPress themes/plugins to meet business needs.
- Implement updates, backups, and security protocols.
WordPress Development:
- Optimize themes and plugins for performance and user experience.
- Collaborate with design/content teams on new features and improvements.
- Integrate third-party tools and APIs as needed.
Technical SEO:
- Conduct regular SEO audits and optimize site architecture, speed, and usability.
- Optimize metadata, structured data, and other elements for search engine visibility.
- Stay updated on SEO trends and Google algorithm changes.
Project Management:
- Lead web projects, ensuring alignment with goals and deadlines.
- Collaborate with teams to deliver projects on time.
- Continuously improve web management processes.
Performance Monitoring:
- Monitor website performance using tools like Google Analytics and Search Console.
- Generate reports on traffic, SEO, and site health.
- Provide actionable insights for ongoing improvement.
Security and Compliance:
- Ensure website security and compliance with industry standards.
- Implement SSL, firewalls, and regular security audits.
- Stay informed on legal and regulatory requirements.
Continuous Improvement:
- Explore new technologies and strategies for website performance.
- Experiment with plugins, themes, and integrations.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Web Development, Computer Science, IT, or related field.
Experience:
- 3-5 years as a Webmaster, focusing on WordPress development.
- Strong experience in Technical SEO and Agile project management.
Skills:
- Proficiency in WordPress, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP.
- Expertise in Technical SEO and tools like Google Analytics.
- Strong project management and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork in a remote setting.

Preferred:

Certifications in WordPress or Technical SEO.
Experience in financial services.
Familiarity with other CMS platforms.
