Senior Product Designer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Designer to work closely with patients and care teams to research and design useful, accessible and intuitive products. You will work together with the product and commercial teams to realise the product vision, execute the product strategy, and manage the design of a feature end-to-end.

The role is remote (at least 6 hours overlap with 9-5 UK timezone)

About the role

Working closely with the Product & Commercial teams, you’ll be in charge of researching and designing new features that are intuitive and safe to use. You will have access to patients and clinical care teams to ensure that all your design solutions are well researched and validated.

The main responsibilities of the role include:

● Lead and oversee the research, design and implementation of a new feature from problem deﬁnition to deployment

● Design end-to-end user ﬂows and experiences that are joyful and follow the design patterns of our design system

● Proactively seek and provide feedback from the broader product team, to ensure a continuous improvement of our products, processes and vision

● Contribute to the strategic decisions on future direction of our products and platform

Key skills we’re looking for

● Experience working in a product team that research, designs and ships product features continuously

● Strong user research skills and tools that validate conceptual ideas and minimise risk to development

● Experience leading product iterations and measuring outcomes of success. We constantly seek for new opportunities and design solutions that can improve our products

● Experience presenting work to a broader audience including internal and external teams (product, engineering, commercial but also patients and clinical care teams)

● Although the role is more focused on research and early design phases, strong visual design skills are very important. We expect strong competencies on user interface design, typography, iconography, layout and overall aesthetic sense.

Qualiﬁcations

● Senior level product designer with at least 4 years of working experience

● Bachelors or Masters degree in product design, industrial design, behavioural science or related ﬁelds. We are keen to meet designers with a diverse educational background so don’t hesitate to apply if you see ﬁt

● Ability to create a research plan with clear hypotheses, assumptions and methods that ensure useful, usable, accessible and intuitive features

● Portfolio (online or pdf) that demonstrates your skills, design processes and visual competencies is a must

● Experience in Healthcare, Life Sciences, or Public Health sectors is a plus, but not required.
