Senior Backend Developer

Location: Tehran (Remote flexibility available)

Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer to lead our development team and take charge of building a new AI-powered language learning application, alongside contributing to ongoing projects. This role is critical for someone who is not only technically skilled in backend development but also capable of leading a team, managing projects, and ensuring seamless integration with mobile platforms. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise, excellent management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both mobile developers and our AI research team.

Responsibilities:

Lead the backend development team while actively engaging in hands-on programming and system architecture design.
Collaborate closely with Android, iOS, and AI researchers to ensure seamless API integrations and optimized performance across all platforms.
Drive the adoption of best practices in code health, testing, and maintainability.
Manage and scale our backend infrastructure, utilizing technologies such as cloud services and Kubernetes to enhance system performance and reliability.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, including a junior backend/DevOps engineer, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team.
Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to align project objectives and deliverables.
Evaluate and introduce new technologies and tools to enhance development efficiency and product capabilities.
Ensure the team delivers high-quality software solutions on time and aligned with our strategic goals.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in backend development, with a deep understanding of system architecture and database management.
Strong proficiency in Golang, Python, and Node.js, with a solid grasp of Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience leading development teams and managing complex software projects.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about product development and optimization.
Strong communication skills and the ability to mentor and lead a technical team.
Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and a clear understanding of scalable infrastructure.
