Remote Sensing Specialist

About the Position

Mazraeh is looking for a creative and passionate Remote Sensing Specialist to join our growing team.

If you enjoy working with satellite imagery, geospatial analytics, time-series data, machine learning, and developing data-driven solutions for real-world agricultural challenges, we would be excited to hear from you.

In this role, you will contribute to the development of intelligent analytics, satellite-based monitoring services, and innovative products for smart agriculture.

Key Responsibilities

Process and analyze satellite imagery and remote sensing datasets
Develop geospatial and time-series analytical models
Integrate and analyze multi-source datasets, including satellite, weather, field, and management data
Design and develop data-driven tools and services for the Mazraeh platform
Build, evaluate, and improve machine learning and AI-based models
Contribute to the development of smart agriculture products and decision-support systems
Document, validate, and continuously improve analytical workflows and models

Required Qualifications

Strong proficiency in Python programming
Solid understanding of remote sensing concepts, satellite data, and their applications
Hands-on experience with Google Earth Engine and its APIs
Experience with data analytics, image processing, machine learning, and geospatial analysis libraries
Familiarity with tools and libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, Rasterio, GDAL, GeoPandas, and OpenCV
Good understanding of Data Mining, Machine Learning algorithms, and model evaluation techniques
Experience working with large-scale datasets and AI-driven analytical solutions
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment

Preferred Qualifications

Academic or professional background in Remote Sensing, GIS, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or related fields
Experience with cloud computing and scalable data processing platforms
Familiarity with agriculture, environmental monitoring, or natural resource management is a plus
