Role Overview

The Business Analyst at Rafidain Group plays a critical role in transforming data, insights, and market intelligence into actionable business strategies. The role bridges strategy, operations, and client success, ensuring decisions are informed by accurate analysis, clear reporting, and structured processes. You will work closely with the Strategy, Legal, Logistics, and Operations teams to evaluate opportunities, assess performance, and optimize processes across our service lines.

Key Responsibilities

● Analyze market trends, industry data, and competitor performance to support market entry and business development strategies.

● Gather and document business requirements from internal teams and external partners.

● Evaluate operational performance metrics and identify areas for efficiency improvement.

● Prepare structured business reports, dashboards, and performance analyses for management and clients.

● Support financial modeling, feasibility studies, and ROI assessments for new projects.

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams (legal, logistics, commercial) to align analysis with execution.

● Develop and maintain business process documentation, SOPs, and analytical frameworks.

● Translate complex data and operations into clear, visual presentations for decision-making.

● Participate in client meetings to support proposal development and performance reviews.

Qualifications

● Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).

● 3–5 years of experience in business analysis, management consulting, or strategy roles.

● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.

● Experience preparing business cases, feasibility studies, and performance reports.

● Familiarity with trade, logistics, e-commerce, or professional services sectors is a plus.

● Strong attention to detail, structure, and process orientation.

● Fluency in English is required.
