We’re an AI-first company looking for an HR Generalist with a strong HR Operations focus to run day-to-day people processes and keep our employee experience smooth and compliant. This role also supports office operations and procurement (supplies and essential equipment) and supports access & device operations in coordination with IT.
Note: This position does not include payroll responsibilities.
What you’ll do
Own employee lifecycle operations: onboarding, internal changes, offboarding.
Maintain accurate employee records (digital/physical) with high confidentiality.
Prepare and manage HR documentation: contracts, addendums, employment letters.
Manage HR checklists and standard operating procedures (SOPs); keep processes consistent and auditable.
Serve as the first point of contact for employee operational requests and follow through to resolution.
Track and administer leave requests, absences, and time-related records (operational level).
Identify trends and flag risks (e.g., recurring absences, team capacity concerns) to the CEO.
Build and deliver weekly/monthly CEO-ready HR reports and simple dashboards.
Office Operations & Procurement
Manage purchasing of office supplies and essential equipment (stationery, pantry, basic tools).
Collect requests, get quotes, coordinate ordering/delivery, and track inventory.
Coordinate with vendors and support basic replacements/repairs of essential items when needed.
Access & Device Operations (coordination with IT)
Support onboarding/offboarding by coordinating granting and revoking access to tools and systems (accounts, groups, permissions) based on approved requests.
Help manage device handover/return processes (laptops, peripherals), maintain basic device records, and track assignments.
Assist with device search/retrieval and inventory checks (e.g., locating assigned devices, coordinating returns, updating logs).
Ensure access/device checklists are completed and documented; escalate issues to IT when needed.
What we’re looking for
At least 3 years of experience in HR Ops / People Ops / Personnel Admin (or closely related operations roles).
Highly organized with strong follow-through and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and a service mindset.
Trustworthy and discreet with confidential employee information.
Comfortable coordinating with IT on access/device workflows; able to follow checklists precisely.
Experience using AI tools in daily work (e.g., for drafting, summarizing, workflow support) or an educational background in Computer Science / IT / AI-related fields is a plus.
