We are looking for a Senior SEO & AEO Manager to drive our organic growth strategy across cryptocurrency, fintech, and related financial topics.

The ideal candidate should have strong SEO expertise along with a solid understanding of AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), AI Search, and Generative Search, with the ability to improve brand visibility across traditional search engines, AI-powered search experiences, and chatbot platforms.

This is a part-time, primarily remote role, with an expectation of being on-site at the office one day per week. The role will work closely with the User Acquisition Manager and collaborate with Marketing, Content, Product, and Technical teams.

The role is expected to define priorities, develop and execute actionable SEO plans, coordinate execution across teams, follow up on deliverables, and continuously monitor performance against defined KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

Drive and execute the overall SEO strategy across high-priority cryptocurrency, fintech, and financial topics to improve rankings, organic traffic, and qualified acquisition.
Develop and execute AEO and AI Search initiatives to improve brand and content visibility across AI-powered search engines, answer engines, and chatbot platforms.
Translate SEO opportunities into prioritized action plans, define clear KPIs, and follow up with relevant teams to ensure effective execution.
Lead Technical SEO initiatives, including website architecture, URL structure, internal linking, Schema Markup, crawlability, indexing, Core Web Vitals, and other technical SEO issues.
Drive On-Page SEO optimization across landing pages, service pages, cryptocurrency pages, and editorial content based on search intent, keyword opportunities, competitor analysis, and performance data.
Manage the SEO content roadmap, including keyword and topic prioritization, content briefs, SEO content calendar, content optimization, and performance follow-up.
Apply an AI-first approach to SEO workflows, using AI tools where relevant for keyword research, topic clustering, competitor analysis, content briefs, content optimization, QA, and data analysis.
Develop and manage Off-Page SEO initiatives, including link building, Digital PR, editorial placements, backlink analysis, and authority-building opportunities.
Build and maintain SEO reporting, preferably through Looker Studio, covering organic traffic, rankings, landing-page performance, conversions, technical SEO health, content performance, and other key KPIs.
Provide regular actionable insights and recommendations, highlighting performance trends, priorities, issues, and new organic growth opportunities.

Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on SEO experience with a proven track record of organic growth.
Strong knowledge of SEO, AEO, AI Search, and Generative Search visibility.
Proficiency with Google Search Console, GTM, Looker Studio, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog.
Strong understanding of Technical SEO, Search Intent, Keyword Research, Content Strategy, and Competitor Analysis.
Good understanding of Core Web Vitals, crawlability, indexing, structured data, and website architecture.
Working knowledge of HTML & CSS for SEO-related technical collaboration.
Practical experience using AI tools and platforms for SEO research, analysis, and optimization.
Strong analytical, prioritization, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

Experience in crypto, fintech, or financial markets.
Experience with AI visibility / AEO tools and AI-assisted SEO workflows.
Experience with Digital PR and link building.
Familiarity with WordPress and Metabase.
