Who we are looking for:

We would be happy to have you on our team if you are interested in combining the art of design with the art of programming.

About the role:

As a Web Developer, you are responsible for ensuring that visitors to the website have an easy time interacting with the page. Using the design, technology, and programming to code a website's appearance, as well as taking care of debugging, is how you do this.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Working with clients to develop the overall look and design of a website or web application
Writing website code with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
Producing, maintaining, and modifying websites and user interfaces
Incorporating applications, graphics, audio, and video clips into client websites or web application
Creating tools that enhance the user’s website experience
Ensuring websites are accessible across many devices, including laptops and smartphones
Routinely testing websites for ease of use, speed, and other quality factors
Fixing any website issues or bugs that arise

Skills and Qualifications:

3+ years of experience as a Web developer.
Ability to write clean, effective, and production-ready code
Proficient understanding of front-end markup, including HTML5, CSS3, SCSS
Expertise in using CSS frameworks and preprocessors (e.g., Sass, Less).
Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
Experience with front-end automation tooling (Gulp, npm, Sass).
Strong ability to work well with others in a highly collaborative team environment.
Expertise in responsive design and development.
Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
Fluency in Git (we use Github) and terminal-based operations.
Understanding of key website design principles and SEO optimization
Ability to test and debug websites
Analytical and detail-oriented
Advanced problem-solving skills
Solid understanding of WordPress, including custom theme development

Preferred Skills/Experience:

Experience with React.
Expertise with performance and optimization problems.
Solid understanding of PHP and developing WordPress plugins
Experience writing automated tests (e.g., Jest, Karma, Mocha, etc.).
Fluency in English (as a second language)
