TechWizards is seeking a talented and experienced Senior PHP Developer to join our team and contribute to our innovative project, AdvisorBuddy. As a Senior PHP Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining the energy audit platform with a wide range of useful tools. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to be involved in the future transition of our project to Go Lang.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with the AdvisorBuddy project team to understand requirements and provide valuable insights.
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality PHP Laravel applications for AdvisorBuddy.
Implement clean, modular, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to junior developers to ensure code quality and team growth.
Optimize the performance and scalability of AdvisorBuddy, identifying and addressing potential bottlenecks.
Ensure the security and integrity of the platform by implementing best security practices.
Collaborate with the team to develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in web development and PHP Laravel and apply them to AdvisorBuddy.
Play a key role in planning and executing the transition from PHP Laravel to Go Lang for future development.
Contribute to refactoring efforts, improving the maintainability and performance of the codebase.
Thoroughly document code changes, technical specifications, and project-related information.
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and bugs promptly to ensure smooth user experiences.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other developers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience as a Senior PHP Developer with a strong portfolio showcasing PHP Laravel projects.
In-depth knowledge of PHP, Laravel, MySQL, and related technologies.
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns.
Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
Familiarity with front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to tackle new challenges.
Passion for energy efficiency and sustainability, aligning with the vision of AdvisorBuddy.
Experience with Go Lang is a plus, and a willingness to learn and contribute to the transition in the future.
