Carmood is an innovative car auction sale platform. Our mission is to simplify the car buying and selling process through technology-driven solutions. We leverage a Go-based service-oriented architecture (SOA) alongside modern cloud-based infrastructure to deliver seamless and scalable solutions.


As we scale, we are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to strengthen our infrastructure, ensure system reliability, and drive automation across our development and deployment pipelines.


Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to take ownership of our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and system monitoring. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, cloud platforms (preferably Arvan Cloud, Sotoon), and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools, ensuring our systems are highly available, scalable, and secure.


Key Responsibilities

 • Infrastructure Management:

 • Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on Arvan Cloud (S3), Sotoon.

 • Implement Kubernetes (K8s) clusters for containerized applications and ensure optimal resource utilization.

 • Manage and optimize Docker-based environments and container orchestration strategies.

 • CI/CD Automation:

 • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, ensuring smooth code deployment to production environments.

 • Automate release processes and deployment workflows for backend (Go, PHP) and frontend (Next.js) applications.

 • Enforce best practices for code integration, testing, and deployment automation.

 • Security & Compliance:

 • Implement and enforce security best practices, including vulnerability assessments, access control, and infrastructure hardening.

 • Ensure compliance with security standards and policies, including backup and disaster recovery planning.

 • Monitoring & Incident Response:

 • Set up comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and ELK stack.

 • Proactively identify and resolve system bottlenecks, ensuring high availability and reliability.

 • Implement incident response processes to handle system failures and outages efficiently.

 • Automation & Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC):

 • Develop and maintain IaC templates using Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi to manage infrastructure as code.

 • Automate cloud resource provisioning and infrastructure scaling using infrastructure scripting.

 • Collaboration & Mentorship:

 • Work closely with backend and frontend teams to facilitate seamless deployments and operations.

 • Mentor junior engineers, promoting DevOps best practices and knowledge sharing.


Qualifications & Experience

 • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or infrastructure management roles.

 • Proficiency in working with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerization strategies.

 • Strong experience with cloud providers such as Arvan Cloud (preferred), AWS, or Google Cloud.

 • Expertise in CI/CD tools, especially GitHub Actions.

 • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi.

 • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Loki.

 • Solid understanding of networking concepts, including DNS, VPNs, load balancing, and firewalls.

 • Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go for automation tasks.

 • Experience with security best practices, including IAM, role-based access control (RBAC), and compliance frameworks.

 • Familiarity with database operations (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) and their scalability in cloud environments.

 • Strong knowledge of Linux-based operating systems and server administration.

 • Experience with Agile development methodologies and working in a cross-functional team.


Nice to Have

 • Familiarity with Service Mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, Linkerd).

 • Experience in setting up multi-cloud environments and hybrid cloud solutions.

 • Knowledge of observability frameworks beyond standard monitoring, such as distributed tracing.

 • Experience working with performance testing and load testing tools.

 • Certification in cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Kubernetes (CKA, CKAD).
