About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join our team and work on our core project, Shoraka. The ideal candidate will be capable of designing scalable APIs independently using the API-First methodology and building robust backend architectures without external support.

Responsibilities:

End-to-end design and implementation of scalable APIs following the API First approach
Independently architect backend systems and database structures
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers and product managers
Provide multiple scalable solutions for system design challenges
Optimize database queries and improve system performance
Ensure code quality, maintainability, and best practices in backend development

Requirements:

Senior-level experience in backend development
Expertise in Python and FastAPI
Strong knowledge of SQLAlchemy, SQLModel, and Alembic
Solid experience with PostgreSQL, database design principles, and performance optimization
Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to propose multiple solutions
Strong communication skills and a team-player mindset
Effective time management skills
