Herlife is expanding its reach into the health and wellbeing sector by launching a new vertical within our application. This Direct to Consumer (D2C) online store will offer a curated selection of health and wellbeing products to our users. We are seeking a seasoned Senior Operations Supervisor to oversee the procurement, logistics, fulfillment, and support operations for this new vertical. This role is crucial for ensuring a seamless, efficient, and high-quality shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities:
Product Sourcing and Procurement:
- Develop and implement strategies for sourcing high-quality health and wellbeing products that align with Herlife's brand and customer expectations.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive prices, quality, and delivery terms.
- Continuously evaluate and optimize the supplier portfolio for cost-efficiency, sustainability, and reliability.
Logistics and Fulfillment:
- Design and manage the end-to-end logistics and fulfillment process, ensuring timely delivery of products to customers.
- Work closely with logistics partners to optimize shipping routes, reduce delivery times, and manage costs.
- Implement and oversee quality control measures to ensure product integrity and customer satisfaction.
Customer Support and Experience:
- Develop and maintain a customer support framework that ensures timely and effective resolution of customer inquiries and issues.
- Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to enhance the customer journey within the app, focusing on the shopping experience.
- Analyze customer feedback and operational data to continuously improve service quality and efficiency.
Inventory and Warehouse Management:
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels are maintained to meet demand without overstocking.
- Implement efficient warehouse management practices to optimize space utilization and product handling.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team dedicated to the health and wellbeing vertical operations.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and high performance within the team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations, supply chain, or logistics, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Experience in the health and wellbeing sector or e-commerce is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of D2C business models and e-commerce platforms.
- Proficient in inventory and warehouse management systems, as well as customer support technologies.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on efficiency and cost reduction.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team in a fast-paced environment.
