We are looking for a highly skilled Growth Hacker to join the ambitious and fast-moving team at Perch, an innovative AI startup developing an intelligent conversational agent powered by LLMs.
The ideal candidate is data-driven, tech-savvy, and hands-on — someone who understands how to combine marketing, analytics, automation, and AI to drive user growth, engagement, and retention in a product-led startup.
Must-Have Requirements
- Proven experience designing and executing growth experiments from hypothesis to execution and measurement.
- Experience working on Zero-to-One (0→1) product launches, including early-market traction and fast execution under uncertainty.
- Practical involvement in identifying, testing, or validating Product-Market Fit (PMF) in early-stage startups.
- Hands-on experience launching products on Product Hunt or similar launch platforms (e.g., BetaList, Hacker News “Show HN”, Indie Hackers, AI tools directories).
- Strong analytical and technical abilities — familiarity with SQL, Python, or JavaScript for automation and data analysis.
- Deep understanding and mastery of key growth metrics including Activation, Retention, CAC, LTV, Conversion Rate, and Virality.
- Experience with at least one analytics tool (Mixpanel, Amplitude, GA4) and one automation platform (n8n, Zapier, Make).
- Ability to design, measure, and optimize growth funnels (acquisition, activation, retention, referral).
- Solid understanding of A/B testing frameworks, funnel analysis, and user segmentation.
- Passion for AI and LLM-based products, with curiosity to leverage them for marketing and growth purposes.
- Experience with Generative AI tools or prompt engineering (e.g., OpenAI API, LangChain).
- Experience building and scaling viral loops, community-led growth, or product-led onboarding.
- Familiarity with UX writing, conversion rate optimization, and AI-assisted copy generation.
- Hands-on experience creating content-led growth assets (microsites, landing pages, automated campaigns).
Bonus Points
- Practical knowledge of RAG pipelines or LLM fine-tuning for personalization and retention use cases.
- Hands-on with web automation and API integrations.
- Previous experience working with startups in e-commerce, SaaS, or AI-driven products.
