Talent development specialists are responsible for identification, development, implementation, and evaluation of solutions & tools that help individuals grow in alignment with organizational goals & strategies. Also, this person helps with design, development, implementation & evaluation of processes related to talent & leadership development.
Description
- Designs & implements skill gap analysis.
- Design, plan, and implement various training programs, including workshops, seminars, and e-learning courses.
- Evaluates the success of development solutions, tools & processes and help employees make the most of learning opportunities.
- Collects, maintains & analyses talent & leadership development data (e.g. training activities, attendance, training satisfaction & effectiveness, results of tests and assessments, etc.).
- Monitoring and reviewing the progress of trainees.
- Helping line managers and trainers solve specific training problems.
- Keeping up-to-date with developments in HR & learning & development field.
- Having an understanding of adult learning methodologies and related knowledge.
- Implements talent management and succession planning programs to help with business excellence and continuity.
- Develop policies & documents necessary for talent & leadership development.
- Manage relationships with development vendors, including selection, contract negotiation, and performance evaluation.
- Assist in the job promotion process by assessing the leadership skills of candidates, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and leadership competencies.

- Knowledge of key learning and development field concepts & methodologies functions and processes.
- Learning Management Systems (LMS): Proficiency in using LMS to create, track, and manage training initiatives.
- E-Learning Development Tools: Skilled in using tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar for developing interactive e-learning content.
- Data Analysis Software: Ability to use data analysis tools to measure training effectiveness and make informed decisions.
- Project Management Software: Familiarity with project management tools to oversee training projects from conception to completion.
- Microsoft Office Suite: Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint for creating training materials and reports.
- Webinar Platforms: Experience in hosting webinars using platforms like Skyroom & Microsoft Teams.
Minimum academic and professional qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Training and Development, or a related field required.
Experience:
· At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
