About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned and passionate Senior Software Engineer (Golang) to join our core engineering team. In this role, you won’t just write code; you will design scalable architectures, champion engineering excellence, and help shape the technical direction of our products.If you are someone who treats code as a craft, deeply understands software paradigms, balances pragmatic execution with architectural purity, and leverages modern AI tools to amplify your productivity, you’ll fit right in.Key Responsibilities


  • Design & Development: Architect, build, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and reliable microservices using Go.
  • Engineering Excellence: Write clean, maintainable, and self-documenting code. Actively participate in and elevate our code review process.
  • Testing Champion: Ensure that Unit Tests and Integration Tests are an inseparable part of your daily development workflow. We don't ship without test coverage.
  • System Architecture: Design robust APIs (gRPC/REST), optimize database performance (SQL/NoSQL), and manage distributed system complexities (concurrency, message queues, caching).
  • Mentorship & Collaboration: Partner with product managers and other engineers to solve complex problems, and mentor junior/mid-level developers on Go best practices.

What We Are Looking For (Requirements)

1. Advanced Go Expertise


  • Deep Language Mastery: Proved experience with Go's internals, memory management, garbage collection optimization, and writing idiomatic Go code.
  • Concurrency Powerhouse: Strong understanding of Go's concurrency primitives (Goroutines, Channels, sync package, Context pattern) and how to prevent race conditions or deadlocks.
2. Software Engineering Fundamentals


  • Programming Paradigms: Strong conceptual knowledge of various programming paradigms (Object-Oriented, Functional, Concurrent) and knowing when (and when not) to apply them in Go.
  • Clean Architecture & Patterns: Solid experience with Clean Code principles, SOLID design, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and architectural patterns (Hexagonal/Ports & Adapters).
3. Testing & DevOps Mindset


  • Test-Driven Execution: Deep belief that a feature is only "done" when it's fully covered by meaningful unit and integration tests. Experience with Go testing frameworks and mocking libraries.
  • Modern Stack: Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments (AWS/GCP/DigitalOcean).
4. Pragmatic & AI-Augmented Developer


  • Smart AI Utilization: Experience using AI tools (like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, LLMs) intelligently to accelerate boilerplate generation, debugging, and exploration, while maintaining a strong critical eye for security, architecture, and code quality. We value leverage, not lazy copy-pasting.

Nice to Have (Bonus Points)

  • Experience with high-throughput distributed systems or event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS).
  • Deep understanding of observability (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).
  • Contributions to open-source Go projects.
