We are looking for a General Accountant Team Lead who is responsible for overseeing and leading a team of accountants in a professional and efficient manner. The individual in this role will work closely with the CFO, Senior Managers, and other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. The Team Lead will develop and implement strategies to improve team productivity and efficiency and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. The Team Lead will also train and coach team members to ensure their development and growth within the organization.
Tasks in detail:
- Controlling routine accounting tasks.
- Controlling all vouchers submitted by other members.
- Finding and addressing any discrepancy in accounting.
- Offering advice to team members on how to manage responsibilities.
- Checking payment requests and controlling balance sheet.
- Communicating with third parties for reconciling & confirming the balance.
- Controlling & reconciling accounts payable and receivable
- Examining the financial documents and confirming their accuracy with laws and regulations.
- Assisting the financial manager in preparing financial statements.
- Communicating with auditors & tax officers.
- Managing and preparing tax and seasonal reports.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- Minimum 7 years of related experience.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Good communication skills.
- Familiarity with Tax and SSO.
